We just got done posting a some Hawaii desktop wallpapers and the response has been tremendous! People are loving these!

We have started by just posting a few, but you can bet we will be posting many more Hawaii wallpapers in the future. To accommodate as many people as possible (or should we say, as many screen resolutions as possible), we’ve posted all the wallpapers in the following sizes: 800 x 600 pixels, 1024 x 768 pixels, 1280 x 720 pixels, 1280 x 1024 pixels, 1600 x 1200 pixels, 1920 x 1080 pixels.

These are about the most popular sizes… but if you think we should post any other sizes, please contact us and let us know.

Check back often as we will be posting new Hawaii wallpapers from time to time, or better yet, subscribe to our newsletter… we’ll announce any new wallpapers in the newsletter, so you’ll be sure not to miss any.

Just a quick update I wanted to share with you all. We’ve just added the ability to easily spread the word about The Hawaii Directory… so, in the spirit of Aloha, we ask you to spread just that… Aloha Spirit!

You can easily tell your friends, family, coworkers, or anybody else you know who has any sort of interest in Hawaii (you know of at least 5 right off the top of your head, I bet) about this website.

We put the form up just a couple of days ago, and people are already using it! Try it out now…

Over the past few weeks, we have been working on a brand new design for the website, and we’ve finally made the update a few days ago!

The website has an entirely new look along with some really great features, including 4 new RSS feeds! Here are the new RSS feeds you can subscribe to, if you want…

The Hawaiian word of the day — We display a new Hawaiian word each day and also give the english meaning. This is actually a great way to learn a few words, one day at a time.

The Hawaiian phrase of the day — Much like the Hawaiian word of the day, this feed gives you a new phrase in the Hawaiian language each day.

Hawaii fact of the day — New fact about Hawaii each day… some common, some obscure, all true.

Hawaii website of the day — Every day, a new website is picked at random as The Hawaii Directories website of the day, where it is shown on the website of the day page, our homepage, and also of course, sydicated through an RSS feed. Great feed to subscribe to if your looking to visit websites you may have never found in any search engines. And by the way, this is an incredible feature for any website owners and webmaster to gain a ton of exposure for their websites!

We’ve got some other things on the website too, but instead of reading what I have to say about the new website, just go take a look for yourself… I think you’ll like it.

We wanted to start a blog for The Hawaii Directory for a few reasons. But, most of all, it’s a great way for us to keep everybody up to date with everything happening at The Hawaii Directory. You can always come back here to find out the latest news, announcements, and updates in regards to the website. In fact, you should subscribe to our RSS feed, and you’ll be notified instantly whenever we post anything new here.

We’ve got a lot of very cool things happening with The Hawaii Directory that will be happening over the coming weeks and months (and even years!).

This website is thriving and constantly growing every day, both in terms of the website itself, and the amount of visitors that are digging around here. In fact, I am shocked at the growth that we’ve experienced in just in the last few months. It’s really incredible!
